The Israeli military killed two suspected kidnappers 3 teens

The Israeli military said it had killed two Palestinians suspected of involvement in the kidnapping and murder of three teenagers Israel last June.

Army spokesman Peter Lemer said on Tuesday (23/9) that forces killing Amer Abu Aisheh and Marwan Qawasmeh in a shootout at a house in the city of Hebron, West Bank.

He said the Israeli military confirmed the death of a suspect and the other suspects are believed to have been killed but his body was not visible.

Kidnapping on June 12, it sparked a massive search that includes the arrest of hundreds of Hamas members. The militant group had initially denied involvement, but later claimed responsibility for kidnapping the teenager.

Israeli extremists then kidnapped and killed a Palestinian youth in what appears to be a revenge attack.

These incidents helped spark the 50-day war between Israel and Hamas that killed more than 2,100 Palestinians and 72 Israelis.
